The Montreal Alouettes have signed American receiver Terique Owens, the son of former NFL star Terrell Owens.
The six-foot-three, 200-pound target went unselected in the 2024 NFL Draft but had a stint on the practice roster with the San Francisco 49ers that same year. He returned to the 49ers in 2025 but was cut at the conclusion of training camp.
The 26-year-old finished his collegiate career at Missouri State University, making 46 catches for 765 yards and four touchdowns over 26 games. His best season came in 2023 when he caught 28 passes for 528 yards and four scores. The native of Pleasanton, Calif. previously played at Florida Atlantic University.
