The Cincinnati Bengals have signed Saskatchewan Roughriders receiver Dohnte Meyers to an NFL futures contract, per sources.

The 25-year-old had a breakout CFL season in 2025, recording 65 catches for 1,056 yards with eight touchdowns to be named a West Division all-star and help the Riders win the 112th Grey Cup. He first joined Saskatchewan in 2024, registering 24 receptions for 349 yards and one score as a CFL rookie.

The five-foot-ten, 190-pound target finished his collegiate career at Delta State University, an NCAA Division II program located in Cleveland, Miss. In 24 games, Meyers notched 120 receptions for 1,542 yards with 13 touchdowns, earning first-team all-conference in his senior season with the Statesmen. He transferred from Presbyterian College, where he dressed for 20 games and caught 54 passes for 671 yards with seven touchdowns.

After his NCAA career, Meyers ran a 4.54 forty-yard time at his pro day. He also posted a 4.23 shuttle, 6.99 three-cone, 35-inch vertical and 10-foot, six-inch broad jump along with 15 reps of 225 pounds on the bench press. After going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft, the Brooklyn, N.Y. native accepted a rookie mini-camp invite with the Atlanta Falcons.

Meyers worked out for five NFL teams during offseason prior to inking his first NFL contract: the Minnesota Vikings, Chicago Bears, Denver Broncos, Bengals, and Miami Dolphins. He was scheduled to hit CFL free agency on Tuesday, February 10, which means Meyers be eligible to sign with any CFL team should he be released by Cincinnati after that date.

The Bengals failed to qualify for the NFL playoffs, finishing third in the AFC North with a 6-11 record.
