U Sports has named the Université Laval as the host for the 2027 Vanier Cup.
Laval was already slated to host the 2026 Vanier Cup, which means that the championship game will reside at Stade Telus in Quebec City for two consecutive years. GreenShield will serve as the title partner for both events.
Since the Vanier Cup began travelling in 2004, Laval has played host to the game on seven occasions, most recently in three consecutive years from 2018 to 2021. Twice, the game has surpassed 18,000 in attendance while being played at Stade Telus. The Rouge et Or routinely draw sellout crowds and set a new attendance record last season with 20,903 witnessing them take on the rival Montreal Carabins.
The 60th Vanier Cup is set for Saturday, November 22, at 2:15 p.m. EST. The Université de Montréal and the University of Saskatchewan will square off at Mosaic Stadium in Regina. The game can be viewed on CBC TV, CBC Gem, CBCSports.ca, and CBC Sports YouTube, as well as in French on TVA Sports.
