The five-foot-eleven, 224-pound native of Windsor, Ont. caught 71 passes for 1,010 yards and eight touchdowns during his collegiate career in the OUA.
Jones attended training camp with the Stampeders earlier this year but didn’t see any regular-season action. He also had a stint on the practice roster with the New York Giants in 2023.
O’Malley had stints with the Tennessee Titans and Green Bay Packers earlier this year before joining the practice roster with the Stampeders in September. The six-foot-three, 288-pound native of Hammond, Ind. recorded 127 total tackles, 29.5 tackles for loss, 22 sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, one interception and one blocked kick over 56 collegiate games at Northern Illinois University.
The Calgary Stampeders finished third in the West Division standings in 2025 with an 11-7 record but lost the West Semi-Final to the B.C. Lions. Vernon Adams Jr. threw for 4,247 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions over 17 regular-season starts, posting a 11-6 record.
The Stampeders ranked fourth in net offence, seventh in net defence, and second with a turnover differential of plus-nine. Dedrick Mills won the CFL’s rushing title with 1,409 yards, while the team’s leading receiver was Dominique Rhymes with 886 yards, and leading tackler was Jacob Roberts with 102 tackles.
