Ryan Dinwiddie is being inducted into the Boise State Athletics Hall of Fame.

The six-foot-one, 195-pound passer played four collegiate seasons for the Broncos, completing 62.7 percent of his passes for 9,819 yards, 82 touchdowns, and 21 interceptions. He went 28-6 as a starter, leading the team to two bowl victories and two top-25 finishes in the AP rankings.

Dinwiddie remains the program’s all-time single-season passing leader. He also ranks second in career total touchdowns, third in career passing yards, and third in career passing touchdowns.

The 44-year-old had a stint with the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent, though he never saw any regular-season NFL action. He spent five CFL seasons as a member of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Saskatchewan Roughriders, throwing for 2,531 yards, 11 touchdowns, and 14 interceptions.

Dinwiddie has coached in the CFL since 2013, including a five-year stint as the head coach of the Toronto Argonauts. The team has gone 51-35 under his watch, finishing first in the East Division three times and winning two Grey Cups.

The native of Elk Grove, Calif. will be inducted alongside basketball player Derrick Marks, football coach Chris Petersen, gymnast Shani Remme, track and field athlete Kristie Schoffield, and soccer player Raimee Sherle.

A date for the ceremony has yet to be announced.
