Edmonton Elks quarterback Cody Fajardo has been named the CFL’s top performer for Week 21 by Pro Football Focus (PFF).

The 33-year-old native of Brea, Calif. completed 74.1 percent of his passes for 272 yards, one touchdown, and one interception in his team’s 20-10 loss to the Calgary Stampeders. He also ran the ball twice for 24 yards. This is the second time Fajardo has been named to the weekly honour roll by PFF in 2025.

Montreal Alouettes defensive lineman Shawn Oakman was the top-graded defensive player with a score of 90.1. The veteran recorded a season-high seven defensive tackles, one sack, and one pass knockdown in his team’s 19-10 loss to the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

The Ottawa Redblacks had the highest-graded offensive line of the week, earning a group grade of 71.6 in a 35-15 loss to the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. Peter Godber was the top-scoring individual at centre (70.8), followed by left guard Drew Desjarlais (66.8) and left tackle Dino Boyd (66.8).

The CFL partnered with PFF for the first time ahead of the 2023 season. The company uses game footage to review every player on the field and grades their individual performances on a scale from zero to 100.

The league unveils the top-graded players from PFF each week. Offensive and defensive players must play a minimum of 25 snaps to be eligible, and special teams players must play at least 10. Ties are broken by the number of snaps played.
