The Montreal Alouettes have signed Quebec-born fullback David Dallaire to a three-year contract extension, keeping him with the team through the 2028 season.
The six-foot-three, 205-pound caught 13 passes for 105 yards and one touchdown during the 2025 regular season. He returned one kickoff for 10 yards and added three special teams tackles over 16 games.
“David can fill multiple roles within our team and always delivers,” general manager Danny Maciocia said in a statement. “He’s been a winner at every level he’s played and sets an example with his attitude. We’re happy to have him with us for the long term.”
Montreal selected Dallaire in the second round, 13th overall during the 2023 CFL Draft. The Université de Laval Rouge et Or product won a Grey Cup with the Als in his rookie season in 2023.
The 26-year-old Saint-Georges, Quebec native has played 52 games over three seasons in the CFL. He’s recorded three carries for 10 yards along with 24 receptions fro 201 yards and two majors.
The Montreal Alouettes (10-8) will host the Winnipeg Blue Bombers (10-8) in the East Semi-Final at Percival Molson Stadium on Saturday, November 1 with kickoff slated for 2:00 p.m. EDT. The two teams met at Princess Auto Stadium in the final week of the regular season as the Blue Bombers came away with a 19-10 victory.
