The Ottawa Redblacks have signed Canadian offensive lineman Peter Godber to a two-year contract through 2026.
“Peter is a consistent starter in our league, who will add a veteran physical presence to our offensive line group,” general manager Shawn Burke said in a statement.
The 30-year-old Godber spent the last two seasons with the Saskatchewan Roughriders, starting 27 games at centre and helping them to reach the West Final in 2024.

The Toronto native was selected third overall by the BC Lions in 2018 CFL Draft coming out of Rice University. He appeared in nine games during his rookie season, making his first start on September 14 that year. He spent four seasons with the B.C. Lions then signed with the Riders in 2023.
