The Edmonton Elks have officially signed American defensive back Kobe Williams. 3DownNation reported the agreement last week during the CFL’s free-agent negotiation window.
The 26-year-old made 18 starts last season for the Calgary Stampeders at boundary halfback. He recorded 60 defensive tackles, one interception, and one forced fumble.
The five-foot-ten, 180-pound native of Long Beach, Calif. played 48 regular-season games over four seasons in Cowtown, recording 136 defensive tackles, four special teams tackles, three forced fumbles, three interceptions, and one sack.
