Hamilton Tiger-Cats sign receiver Justin Marshall following release from Argonauts

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American receiver Justin Marshall following his release from the Toronto Argonauts.

The six-foot-three, 213-pound target joined Toronto late last season and was on their practice roster until last week when he was cut.

The 25-year-old native of Conyers, Ga. spent time with the Atlanta Falcons and Seattle Seahawks after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft.

Marshall made 36 catches for 544 yards and one touchdown over 31 collegiate games at the University of Louisville. He transferred to the University at Buffalo for his senior year and made 64 receptions for 837 yards and nine touchdowns.

The Tiger-Cats (6-10) will host the Calgary Stampeders (4-11-1) on Friday, Oct. 18 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
