Saskatchewan Roughriders sign former Calgary Stampeders’ receiver Colton Hunchak

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed Canadian receiver Colton Hunchak.

The five-foot-eleven, 212-pound native of Calgary, Alta. was an eighth-round pick of the Calgary Stampeders in the 2019 CFL Draft out of York University. He played four seasons with the team, making 65 catches for 606 yards.

The 26-year-old was a two-time OUA all-star during his collegiate career, recording 1,990 total yards and 18 touchdowns over 27 games.

The Riders have also released offensive lineman Tairiq Stewart.

Saskatchewan (6-7-1) will host the Ottawa Redblacks (8-5-1) on Saturday, Sept. 28 with kickoff slated for 3:00 p.m. EDT.
