The Ottawa Redblacks have signed American running back Percy Agyei-Obese.
The six-foot, 213-pound ball-carrier attended training camp with the B.C. Lions earlier this year and rushed nine times for 39 yards. He was released before the start of the regular season.
The 25-year-old native of Frederick, Md. played 60 games at James Madison University where he ran for 3,503 yards and 39 touchdowns and made 18 catches for 119 yards. He finished his tenure ranked second in school history in rushing attempts and rushing touchdowns, third in rushing yards and total touchdowns, and fourth in career scoring.
The Redblacks (8-3-1) will visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (3-9) on Saturday, Sept. 14 with kickoff slated for 3:00 p.m. EDT.
