The Tiger-Cats 31-28 upset win at Tim Hortons Field versus the Argonauts produced over 23,000 more viewers than one year ago while the Elks 35-20 victory against the Stampeders had 38,000 and change extra onlookers on TV. One note: the Blue Jays did not play but the MLB team did take the field last year on the Labour Day Monday.
There were 290,500 people in the 25-54 age demographic who watched the Blue Bombers win 35-33 in an entertaining game at new Mosaic Stadium, which set an attendance record (33,861) in the process. The other CFL games EDM-CGY 201,200, OTT-BC 130,300 and TOR-HAM 127,900 did into the six-figures in the same category.
