The Edmonton Elks have signed Canadian defensive back Jeremie Dominique to the practice roster.
The native of Montreal, Que. was taken in the sixth round of the 2022 CFL Draft and played 29 games over two seasons with the club, making 16 total tackles and two forced fumbles. He was released during the early portion of training camp earlier this year.
The six-foot-one, 202-pound defender attended the University of Charleston in West Virginia after a stint at Cégep du Vieux Montréal.
The Edmonton Elks (2-7) will visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (2-7) on Saturday, Aug. 17 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
