The B.C. Lions have opened the upper bowl at BC Place Stadium for their Week 11 meeting with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers.

A club spokesperson has previously told 3DownNation that the lower bowl at BC Place Stadium seats approximately 25,500 fans, so it appears the team is expecting a crowd substantially larger than that for the Lions and Bombers third meeting of the season on August 18.

The club drew a crowd of 53,788 for its June 15 home opener against the Calgary Stampeders which featured a pregame performance from rapper 50 Cent. It was the seventh-highest crowd total for a regular season game in franchise history. The Lions won the contest 26-17.
