The Edmonton Elks will be swapping a pair of Canadian defensive tackles for their matchup with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.
Sam Acheampong (knee) has been added to the six-game injured list after being rolled up on last week. The 28-year-old has been a key contributor on the Elks defensive line rotation through six weeks, collecting eight defensive tackles.
Returning to the field for the first time this season is behemoth defender J-Min Pelley, who has missed the first six games with a knee issue. The six-foot-five, 330-pound pocket pusher has played 18 games for the Elks over the last two seasons, collecting 19 defensive tackles.

Sitting out this week will be right guard Hunter Steward (head), who has been placed on the one-game injured list. Former first-overall CFL draft pick Shane Richards is slated to start in his place.
Backup safety and special teams standout Scott Hutter (knee) will also be placed on the six-game injured list and is reportedly done for the year. Josh Hagerty will dress in his place after re-joining the team this week and fellow Canadian DB Jake Taylor will provide additional insurance, with receiver Frederik Antoine moving to the practice roster.
The Edmonton Elks (0-6) will host the Hamilton Tiger-Cats (1-5) on Sunday, July 28 at 7:00 p.m. EDT.
