The Ottawa Redblacks have signed American defensive back Adrian Frye.
The five-foot-eleven, 196-pound native of Houston, Texas signed with the New Orleans Saints after going unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft. He made six tackles over three preseason games with the club but was released after training camp.
The 25-year-old played five collegiate seasons at Texas Tech, making 24 starts over 51 games and recording 102 total tackles and seven interceptions.
The Ottawa Redblacks (3-2) will host the Edmonton Elks (0-5) on Friday, July 19 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
