The Montreal Alouettes have signed American defensive back David Vereen.

The five-foot-eleven, 175-pound native of Florence, S.C. dressed for one game with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats last season, recording four defensive tackles.

The 26-year-old signed with the Baltimore Ravens after going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft and later joined the practice roster with the Indianapolis Colts. He signed with the Tiger-Cats midway through the 2023 season but was released near the end of training camp this season.

The Montreal Alouettes (4-0) will host the Calgary Stampeders (2-1) on Saturday, July 6 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
