Saskatchewan Roughriders’ defensive tackle Anthony Lanier II was among three players to receive supplemental discipline from the CFL in Week 3.

The 31-year-old pass rusher was fined for a high hit against Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell in the fourth quarter of his team’s 36-20 victory. The hit drew a roughing the passer penalty, one of two taken by Lanier on the night.

Also fined for his actions against quarterback was Montreal Alouettes’ defensive back Bryce Cosby, who was punished for delivering a low hit on Ottawa Redblacks’ quarterback Dru Brown. Winnipeg Blue Bombers’ defensive back Nick Hallett was fined for delivering a blindside block on B.C. Lions’ defensive back Patrice Rene.
