Toronto Argonauts sign Mississippi State standout Makai Polk

The Toronto Argonauts have signed American receiver Makai Polk.

The six-foot-three, 197-pound target most recently spent time with the Baltimore Ravens and New York Giants after going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft, though he never dressed for a regular season game with either team.

The 22-year-old native of Richmond, Calif. set school records during his final collegiate season at Mississippi State University when he caught 105 passes for 1,046 yards and nine touchdowns. He previously played at the University of California where he made 36 catches for 480 yards and two touchdowns.

The Argonauts will play their first preseason game on Saturday, May 25 when they visit the Montreal Alouettes.
