Toronto Argonauts sign Michigan product Zach Peterson

The Toronto Argonauts have signed American receiver Zach Peterson.

The six-foot-one, 190-pound native of Roswell, Ga. spent the past two years at the University of Michigan where he dressed for 15 games and won the NCAA National Championship in 2023. He did not record any statistics with the Wolverines.

The 24-year-old previously played at Furman University, an FCS program located in Greenville, S.C., and caught 16 passes for 251 yards and one touchdown.

Toronto’s rookie camp got underway on Wednesday with the club’s first preseason game set for Saturday, May 25 against the Montreal Alouettes.

The Argonauts will open their 2024 regular season on Sunday, June 9 when they host the B.C. Lions at BMO Field.
