Toronto Argonauts sign Canadian RB Daniel Adeboboye to extension

The Toronto Argonauts have signed Canadian running back Dan Adeboboye to a contract extension. As per 3DownNation reporter John Hodge, he is now under contract through 2025.

The 24-year-old native of Mississauga, Ont. played 17 regular season games this past season, recording 41 carries for 287 yards and one touchdown and catching eight passes for 71 yards. He also chipped in with 13 special teams tackles, fourth-most on the team.

The five-foot-eleven, 215-pound ball-carrier was a second-round pick in the 2022 CFL Draft out of Bryant University in Smithfield, R.I. He rushed for 72 yards and caught four passes for 16 yards as a rookie.

Toronto will open their 2024 regular season on Sunday, June 9 when they host the B.C. Lions at BMO Field.
