The Toronto Argonauts have signed Canadian defensive back Tunde Adeleke, per sources.

The 28-year-old could be the Argos’ best option at strong-side linebacker with CFL all-star SAM Adarius Pickett leaving the Double Blue for the nation’s capital.

Adeleke was the highest-paid defensive back in the league last season but was limited to 10 games due to injury and ultimately lost his starting safety job to Stavros Katsantonis. The two-time all-star remains on the short list of Canadians athletic enough to start at halfback and corner if needed.
