The Ottawa Redblacks have signed American linebacker Silas Stewart, per sources.
The six-foot-one, 224-pound defender has spent the past three seasons with the Calgary Stampeders, recording 53 defensive tackles, 29 special teams tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble.
The 28-year-old dressed for only five games this past season due to injury.
The Redblacks have a bye during the first week of the 2024 regular season before hosting the Winnipeg Blue Bombers on Thursday, June 13 at TD Place Stadium.
