This year’s events will follow the same five-day format that was introduced in Edmonton in 2023. Players will conduct medical testing and measurements on day one, followed by traditional testing events on day two. Days three to five will include practice sessions featuring individual drills and one-on-ones with CFL coaches leading positional groups.

Leading the offensive prospects as coordinator will be Dominic Picard of the Toronto Argonauts, while Winnipeg’s Marty Costello will handle the offensive linemen, Hamilton’s Naaman Roosevelt will coach the receivers and Ottawa’s Nathan Taylor will be in charge of running backs. Cory Waldbauer from the University of Manitoba will coach the quarterbacks.

On the other side of the ball, Calgary Stampeders’ DB coach Dwayne Cameron will serve as defensive coordinator. B.C.’s Tanya Henderson will work with the defensive line, Saskatchewan’s J.C. Sheritt will handle the linebackers, and Montreal’s Noel Thorpe will coach the defensive backs, while Edmonton’s Mike Scheper will be in charge of special teams.

Unlike last year’s event, the 2024 CFL Combine will be live-streamed on CFL+.

Players who did not receive an invite directly to the CFL Combine have the opportunity to earn a selection by way of the Invitational Combine, which will take place at the Feridun Hamdullahpur Field House at the University of Waterloo on March 8. You can see the full list of prospects invited to that event here.

The 2024 CFL Drafts will take place on Tuesday, April 30, beginning with the Global Draft at 11:00 a.m. EDT. The main Canadian event will take place at 8:00 p.m. EDT and feature 74 selections over eight rounds. The Edmonton Elks currently hold the first overall selection, followed by the Ottawa Redblacks and Saskatchewan Roughriders.
