Rolan along: Saskatchewan Roughriders re-sign DB Rolan Milligan

The Saskatchewan Roughriders have re-signed American defensive back Rolan Milligan through 2025, adding a year to his existing contract with the club.

The five-foot-eleven, 200-pound defender made 17 defensive tackles, two tackles for loss, three special teams tackles, two interceptions, and two pass knockdowns over four games in 2023 prior to suffering a season-ending foot injury.

The 29-year-old originally joined the Riders as a free agent in 2021 and had a breakout season the following year, making 71 defensive tackles, 11 special teams tackles, one sack, one interception, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and eight pass knockdowns over 17 games.

Milligan spent five years in the NFL prior to signing with Saskatchewan as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, and Indianapolis Colts. He made 15 tackles over 11 regular season games with the Colts.

CFL free agency is set to get underway on Tuesday, Feb. 13 at noon EST.
