The Saskatchewan Roughriders have signed American linebacker Zakoby McClain.
The six-foot, 230-pound defender was most recently a member of the New Orleans Breakers of the USFL. He previously signed with the Baltimore Ravens after going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft, though he was waived at the conclusion of training camp.
The 23-year-old from Valdosta, Ga. played 49 games over four collegiate seasons at Auburn University, recording 267 defensive tackles, 19 tackles for loss, six sacks, one interception, nine pass deflections, and four forced fumbles. He was named second-team All-SEC as a senior in 2021.
