Fullbacks are people, too: Hamilton Tiger-Cats re-sign Felix Garand-Gauthier

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed Canadian fullback Felix Garand-Gauthier to a two-year contract extension, tying him to the team through 2025.

The six-foot-one, 225-pound native of Mirabel, Que. played 18 regular season games with the club this past season, recording six catches for 54 yards and five special teams tackles.

The 28-year-old was a fifth-round pick in the 2021 CFL Draft out of Laval Université and has since played 46 games in Steeltown, making 15 receptions for 244 yards and 21 special teams tackles.

Garand-Gauthier won a Vanier Cup as a member of the Rouge et Or in 2018 and was named a second-team All-Canadian one year later.
