The B.C. Lions have signed American defensive back Denzel Williams to their training camp roster.

The five-foot-10, 180-pound cornerback spent two seasons at Villanova University, registering 28 total tackles, seven pass breakups, two interceptions, and two fumble recoveries in 15 games. He transferred from Sacred Heart University, where he collected 35 tackles and six pass breakups in 26 games as a starter.

After going unselected in the 2022 NFL Draft, Williams signed with the Baltimore Ravens as an undrafted free agent but was waived following training camp. He spent time with the USFL’s Philadelphia Stars in 2023 but did not see game action.
