The Toronto Argonauts have signed American receiver DaVaris Daniels and American defensive end Folarin Orimolade to contract extensions.

Daniels caught 52 passes for 1,009 yards and eight touchdowns this past season, reaching the 1,000-yard mark for the first time in his career.

The 31-year-old has been with Toronto since joining the team as a free agent in 2020 following a four-year run with the Calgary Stampeders. The native of Vernon Hills, Ill. and two-time Grey Cup winner has made 336 receptions for 5,579 yards and 38 touchdowns over 99 career CFL games.

Orimolade signed with the Argos as a free agent in 2023 following three seasons with the Calgary Stampeders. He made 36 tackles, 10 sacks, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries over 17 games and was named an East Division all-star for the first time in his career.

The five-foot-eleven, 238-pound edge rusher has made 88 defensive tackles, 11 special teams tackles, 20 sacks, and five forced fumbles over 54 career CFL games.

Neither player was set to become a free agent next month. As per 3DownNation reporter John Hodge, both of their deals now run through 2025. Hodge also reported that Orimolade was due a $100,000 off-season roster bonus on Jan. 15, while Daniels was going to collect $35,000 on Feb. 1.

CFL free agency gets underway at noon EST on Tuesday, Feb. 13.
