The 31-year-old native of Cantonment, Fla. broke into the CFL as a member of the B.C. Lions in 2016 and has since had stints with the Ottawa Redblacks and Saskatchewan Roughriders. He has made 331 defensive tackles, 19 interceptions, eight sacks, and six forced fumbles over 116 career games.

The Elks have also signed American receiver and return specialist Charles Headen III.

The five-foot-seven, 181-pound speedster was named the Special Teams Player of the Year in the Indoor Football League this past season as a member of the Frisco Fighters. He racked up 1,143 return yards and a league-best six kickoff return touchdowns over 15 games.

The Philadelphia native played four collegiate seasons at the Division II level at Shippensburg University, making 80 receptions for 909 yards and 14 touchdowns. He dressed for two games as a senior after transferring to Southern Methodist University.
