The Ottawa Redblacks appear intent on winning their final game of the season as they’ve stuck with Dustin Crum at quarterback and a veteran-laden roster against the Toronto Argonauts on Saturday.
The Redblacks have made only two changes to their starting lineup, both of which came as a result of injuries. Drake Centers has replaced Zack Pelehos at right tackle, who is out with a head injury, while Alonzo Addae will start at field-side halfback in place of Deandre Lamont, who injured his knee.
Crum will make his fourteenth consecutive start for the Redblacks after recently being named the club’s Most Outstanding Rookie. The dual-threat quarterback has thrown for 2,836 yards, eight touchdowns, and ten interceptions this season along with 89 carries for 668 yards and nine touchdowns.

This will be Ottawa’s final game of the year after they were recently eliminated from playoff contention for the fourth consecutive season. Club president Adrian Sciarra recently gave general manager Shawn Burke a vote of confidence despite the team’s disappointing record.
Ottawa and Toronto have met twice this year with the Argonauts winning both meetings, the most recent of which occurred earlier this month. This will be Toronto’s sixth consecutive game without any impact on the standings since clinching first place in the East Division in mid-September.
The Redblacks (4-13) will host the Toronto Argonauts (15-2) on Saturday, Oct. 28 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
