The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have signed American receiver Chris Coleman.
The five-foot-eleven, 192-pound target went unselected in the 2023 NFL Draft but signed with the Miami Dolphins shortly thereafter. He was waived near the end of training camp in August.
The native of Bakersfield, Calif. made 48 receptions for 702 yards and five touchdowns over two seasons at Cal Poly University. He originally started his collegiate career at Fresno State where he made 16 catches for 265 yards and one touchdown over 24 games.
The Ticats (6-8) are scheduled to host the Calgary Stampeders (4-10) on Saturday, Sept. 30 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
