Toronto Argonauts’ receiver DaVaris Daniels has been named the CFL’s top performer for Week 10 by Pro Football Focus (PFF).
The two-time Grey Cup champion and former CFL Most Outstanding Rookie received a grade of 91.6 after catching six passes for 180 yards and three touchdowns in his team’s 44-31 win over the Ottawa Redblacks. For a full breakdown of Daniels’ receiving touchdowns, click here.
The highest-graded defensive player of the week was Jackson Jeffcoat of the Winnipeg Blue Bombers. The veteran pass-rusher recorded one forced fumble and one fumble recovery in his team’s 38-29 victory over the Edmonton Elks, earning a grade of 88.7.
The Montreal Alouettes had the highest-graded offensive line this past week with a group grade of 80.7. Left guard Pier-Olivier Lestage had the highest individual grade of 74.8, followed by right tackle Landon Rice at 73.9 and centre Justin Lawrence at 73.4.
The CFL partnered with PFF for the first time ahead of the 2023 season. The American company uses game footage to review every player on the field and grades their individual performances on a scale from zero to 100.
The league unveils the top-graded players from PFF each week. Offensive and defensive players must play a minimum of 25 snaps to be eligible and special teams players must play at least 10. Ties are broken by the number of snaps played.
