The Hamilton Tiger-Cats have suspended Global punter Bailey Flint as head coach Orlondo Steinauer indicated he “had to attend something back at home.”

The native of Melbourne, Australia was Hamilton’s first-round pick in the 2022 CFL Global Draft. He has dressed for eight games this season, punting 52 times for a net average of 36.8 yards, which ranks sixth league-wide. He has recorded one single this year.

Hamilton traded quarterback Antonio Pipkin to the Saskatchewan Roughriders on Sunday in exchange for Global punter Kaare Vedvik. In 22 career CFL games, the Norwegian specialist has punted 135 times for a gross average of 44.8 yards per attempt.
