Xs and Argos Podcast: Chad Kelly and Adarius Pickett go down as Calgary hands Toronto their first loss

Published on

The Argonauts were unable to overcome a slew of first and second quarter injuries to key players, including quarterback Chad Kelly, and Adarius Pickett, as the Calgary Stampeders handed Toronto their first loss of the season. Kelly suffered an ankle injury on Toronto’s first drive of the second quarter after Pickett had been helped off the field a few plays earlier. The Argos’ defence held their own, allowing only 13 points, but their special teams units coughed up a touchdown and the offence couldn’t move the ball without Kelly. What did head coach Ryan Dinwiddie have to say about Kelly and Pickett’s injuries? Whose play was he upset about? Is there reason to panic in Toronto? We’ve got you covered.
