Xs and Argos Podcast: Ambles is released amid tough roster decisions as Toronto heads to Calgary

Published on

As a number of injured Argos return to health, some difficult roster decisions need to be made. With American receivers DaVaris Daniels, Damonte Coxie, and Cam Phillips playing well, there simply wasn’t room on the roster for Markeith Ambles. Canadian training camp star, Tommy Nield is set to return, but the Argos could face a similar situation with fellow National receivers Kurleigh Gittens Jr., Dejon Brissett, and David Ungerer III all playing well. It’s even more crowded on the offensive line as Dariusz Bladek, Isiah Cage, and Shane Richards all look for their seats in a crammed OL room. Along with all the news, we’ll get you set for Toronto’s game against Calgary on Friday as the Argos look to start the regular season 7-0 for the first time in franchise history.
