The Ottawa Redblacks have brought back Canadian offensive lineman Eric Starczala after releasing him from their practice roster last week.

The six-foot-five, 315-pound blocker was a seventh-round pick of the Toronto Argonauts in the 2019 CFL Draft out of the University of Guelph. He returned to the Gryphons for his final year of U Sports eligibility.

The 26-year-old joined the Redblacks as a free agent in January 2022 and spent most of the season on the practice roster. He was released from the practice roster last week before being brought back on Wednesday.
