The 27-year-old was released by the Stamps on February 6, ahead of the opening of free agency. He started 12 games this past season, playing primarily at boundary halfback and recording 42 defensive tackles, two interceptions, and one touchdown.

The Louisville product led the CFL in interceptions with five in 2021 while playing for the Edmonton Elks but was cut in training camp last season.
