Toronto Argonauts sign FCS standout receiver Lonnie Moore IV

The Toronto Argonauts have signed American receiver and return specialist Lonnie Moore IV, the team announced on Wednesday.

The 24-year-old old attended rookie minicamp with the New York Jets earlier this year following a standout career at Monmouth University.

The five-foot-ten, 175-pounder recorded 213 receptions for 2,736 yards and 19 touchdowns, 23 carries for 285 yards and three touchdowns, 79 kickoffs returns for 1,839 yards and two touchdowns over 48 career games with the Hawks. He was a three-time first-team All-Big South selection.

The native of Sicklerville, N.J. finished his career as the team’s all-time leader in kickoff return yards, second in receptions and all-purpose yards, and third in receiving yards.
