The Calgary Stampeders have signed American defensive back Dishon McNary, the team announced on Tuesday.
The six-foot-one, 203-pound defender played 11 games over three seasons at Central Michigan. He made 47 total tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, one interception, one fumble recovery, and 10 knockdowns as a member of the Chippewas.
McNary played two seasons at Independence Community College in Kansas before transferring to Central Michigan in 2019. He made 17 tackles, two sacks, 10 pass breakups, and one blocked kick as a member of the Pirates.
The Chicago native went unselected in 2022 NFL Draft before attending rookie minicamps with the New York Giants and Chicago Bears.
