The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have signed American offensive lineman Payton Muljo, the team announced on Monday.

The six-foot-six, 305-pound blocker spent the past four seasons playing for the Norther Michigan Wildcats. He dressed for 19 games and was an All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletics Conference (GLIAC) honourable mention as a senior in 2021.

Muljo signed with the New Orleans Breakers of the USFL in May but it does not appear as though he ever dressed for a game as a member of the team. He spent a portion of this past season on Winnipeg’s practice roster.
