Let’s try this again: CFL re-releases East and West Division all-star selections with 19 corrections

The Canadian Football League has unveiled its East and West Division all-star selections for the second time on Wednesday evening after a tabulation error forced a retraction of the originally announced list.

19 changes were made from the retracted teams, 11 in the East Division and eight in the West Division. The Hamilton Tiger-Cats and Calgary Stampeders tied for the highest number of selections with 11 each.

A total of 40 American players were selected along with 12 Canadian players and two Global players.

The divisional all-stars were selected by the voting members of the media, divisional head coaches, and fans. The league all-star team will be announced on Thursday, Nov. 10.
