The Montreal Alouettes (7-8) can clinch a berth in the postseason this week with a win over the Ottawa Redblacks (4-11) on Friday.

The teams met this past week at Percival Molson Stadium where the Redblacks won 24-18, giving interim head coach Bob Dyce a victory in his first game at the helm. Ottawa has not won at home yet this season having lost ten consecutive games at TD Place Stadium dating back to last year.

The Toronto Argonauts (9-6) can clinch first place in the East Division against Edmonton on Saturday with a win and a Montreal loss. The team increased their lead over the Alouettes in the East Division standings by two points this past week when they defeated the B.C. Lions by a score of 23-20 at BMO Field.

The Hamilton Tiger-Cats (5-10) and Saskatchewan Roughriders (6-10) remain in contention for the final playoff spot in the East Division alongside the Alouettes and Redblacks. Edmonton is the only team in the CFL that has been eliminated from postseason contention.

The Winnipeg Blue Bombers (14-2) clinched first place in the West Division with a 48-11 victory over the Edmonton Elks (4-12) this past week. The team will host the West Final on Sunday, Nov. 13 and has now made the playoffs for six consecutive seasons.

The Calgary Stampeders (10-5) and B.C. Lions (10-5) are still competing to finish second in the standings and earn the right to host the West Semi-Final. Neither team can clinch second place in the West Division this week.
