The Toronto Argonauts have released American defensive lineman Julian McCleod.
The 25-year-old dressed for four games this season in a depth role, recording three tackles and one sack with the Boatmen.
The six-foot-three, 285-pound defender played four years at Wagner College from 2016 to 2019. He recorded 38 tackles, 3.5 tackles for loss, and three sacks in 12 games during his senior season with the Seahawks.
The Argos (7-5) are scheduled to visit the Ottawa Redblacks (3-9) on Saturday, Sept. 24 with kickoff slated for 7:00 p.m. EDT.
