Coastal Carolina’s Grayson McCall headlines top NCAA quarterbacks revealed to be on CFL negotiation lists

The NCAA college football season is already underway and the Canadian Football League is offering fans a sneak peek into the stars of tomorrow.

All nine CFL teams have unveiled ten players from their top secret negotiation lists to the public. Clubs are required to unveil names on two occasions throughout the season — once in September and again in December — as part of a provision adopted in the winter of 2018.

League by-laws allow teams to claim the exclusive CFL rights of up to 45 players by placing them on their negotiation lists. Players can be added, removed or traded from the lists at any time, with the majority of prospects completely unaware they’ve ever been claimed.

As is typical, the negotiation list reveal is loaded with big-name college quarterbacks who could have a future throwing the ball north of the border, as well as a few intriguing standouts at other positions.
