The Canadian Football League has fined three players following infractions that occurred during Week 12 action.

Toronto Argonauts’ defensive back Eric Sutton has been fined for unsportsmanlike conduct on Hamilton Tiger-Cats’ wide receiver Kiondre Smith.

The unsportsmanlike conduct, in this case, was a strike to Smith’s groin area that CFL on TSN analyst Duane Forde called a “junk punch.” Sutton was ejected from Friday’s game between the Argos and Ticats in the second quarter following the incident.

As per league policy, the amounts of the player fines were not disclosed.
