The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have released American defensive back Tyquwan Glass.
Glass signed a one-year contract with the blue and gold during free agency in February. He started three games in the secondary during the team’s 3-0 start.
The five-foot-eleven, 195-pound defender is a four-year CFL veteran. He has recorded 103 tackles, six special teams stops, three interceptions and one sack in 33 career games.
Glass started his career in Canada with the Montreal Alouettes in 2018, spent the 2019 season with Edmonton and went back to La Belle Province for the 2021 campaign.
While playing NCAA football with the Fresno State University Bulldogs, Glass totalled 119 tackles, 21 pass deflections, six interceptions and one forced fumble in 23 games.
