The University of Saskatchewan Huskies have added an intriguing new piece to their defence, receiving a commitment from University of Maine transfer Katley Joseph.
Joseph was eligible for selection in the 2022 CFL Draft but went undrafted after suffering a torn meniscus and missing the entire 2021 season. The 23-year-old will pursue a master’s degree in Saskatoon.
The Ottawa-born corner started 17 games for the Black Bears in his first two seasons south of the border. He recorded 54 total tackles, 14 pass deflections and one interception, but opted out of the shortened 2021 spring season before suffering his injury.
