The Edmonton Elks have brought veteran receiver Caleb Holley back into the fold, just two days after he was released by the team.
Holley registered two catches for 66 yards and one touchdown in two preseason games for the Elks and was on the one-game injured list in Week 1. He was released on June 14, but now makes a return to Edmonton as part of the active roster.
The five-year veteran has made 157 career receptions for 1,963 yards and seven touchdowns as a member of the Saskatchewan Roughriders and Ottawa Redblacks.
Edmonton’s home-opener is Saturday against the Saskatchewan Roughriders at The Brick Field at Commonwealth Stadium.
